With the market so high we are testing a modest new variant to the MYFR system. We call it Mrs. Market’s 3W Deal. What are the 3 Ws? Win-Win-Win! First, we identified a couple of businesses we own a lot of and are way up. With over 100 dividend growth companies we are very diversified but AAPL comprises about 8% of our holdings and CAT comprises almost 6%. We decided to sell some calls about 15% higher than the current price with an expiration 90 forward. Then we sell puts 90 days forward at 15% lower. If the call hits we have an even larger gain than currently. If the put hits we buy more of what we love at a lower price. No matter where prices go we have earned some nice premiums. Win-Win-Win deal; what’s not to like?
